Introducing Healthy Turf, Healthy Tomorrow
This initiative by Bayer through funding of the Environmental Institute For Golf (EIFG) seeks to advance plant health research and education for GCSAA superintendents, ensuring the health of their courses - and the industry - for generations to come.
To fund this initiative, Bayer has agreed to invest 1 percent of revenue from StressGard™ FT product sales each year for three years.
The Healthy Turf, Healthy Tomorrow program includes:
Plant Health Academy
A two-part, immersive curriculum that involves classroom training at GCSAA in Lawrence, Kan., and field training at Bayer’s plant health facility in Clayton, N.C.

Plant health webinars will feature respected third-party presenters discussing topics related to plant health.
Plant Health Demonstration Courses
Bayer, GCSAA and EIFG will select two courses per year to generate data and case studies about plant health and serve as "living labs" for regional education.
Plant Health Scholarships
The Healthy Turf, Healthy Tomorrow program will create and designate a select number of scholarships each year to fund plant health research and education.
