Application Tips
- AQUA-RESLINŽ is designed to be diluted with water and appled as a ULV spray. The formulation greatly reduces the evaporation rate of water from the droplets and allows the water-based spray cloud to behave as that produced by a typical oil-based formulation.
- In treatment of corrals, feed lots, swine lots and zoos, cover any exposed drinking water.
- Do not apply this product within 100 feet (30 meters) of lakes and streams.
- Both aerial and ground applications should be made when ground wind speed is less than 10 mph.
- Aqua-Reslin provides excellent insect control when ULV applications are made at rates up to 0.007 pounds of permethrin per acre.
- Droplet size of Aqua-Reslin should be measured using TeflonŽ, or magnesium oxide coated glass slides, AIMS or PC-DC-III. When using coated glass slides, an adequate volume of air should be sampled by using, for example, rotating rod samplers. Slides are examined microscopically and the diameter of droplets measured in microns. Slides should be scanned until 100-200 droplets have been assessed. A spread factor of 0.61 should be used for Teflon coated slides, and 0.86 for magnesium oxide coated slides.
