How it Works
Acclaim Extra^® is a systemic herbicide and is absorbed primarily through the foliage. It is most effective during periods of active weed growth and adequate soil moisture. It is rainfast approximately one hour after drying on the leaf.

After application, susceptible grassy weeds stop growing and lose their competitiveness. Visual symptoms are expressed as chlorosis (yellowing) of the leaves at approximately 4 to 10 days after application. Within 12 to 21 days, the leaves turn red or purple, resulting in the subsequent death of the plant.
