The water-based formulation of Acclaim Extra eases precautionary handling procedures as compared to solvent-based formulations.
Application Tips
When applying Acclaim Extra, keep in mind that some turfgrass species are tolerant to the herbicide. These include: creeping bentgrass*, perennial ryegrass, fine fescue, tall fescue, annual bluegrass, zoysiagrass, and Kentucky bluegrass.
Tank Mixes
Acclaim Extra can be tank mixed with preemergence herbicides to provide a single pre or postemergence treatment for season-long annual grass control. It can be tank mixed with most other turf management products, including fungicides, insecticides and other herbicides.
Preemergence Residual Herbicides
A tank-mix application of Acclaim Extra Herbicide and residual herbicides can provide residual annual grass control. Acclaim Extra can be tank mixed with the following products: BarricadeŽ 65DG, bensulide 4E, DacthalŽ W75, DimensionŽ, pendimethalin 60DG, and TupersanŽ 50W.
Postemergence Broadleaf Herbicides
A tank-mix application of Acclaim Extra herbicide and broadleaf herbicides can provide broadleaf weed and annual grassy weed control. It can be tank mixed with the following products: dicamba 4E, Confront™, TurflonŽ, Amine 3EC, and TurflonŽ Ester 4EC.
