Performance Information
Tartan® has received high efficacy scores in testing against dollar spot and other destructive turf diseases while maintaining high levels of turf color and quality. When used to prevent dollar spot, Tartan kept the disease from encroaching on turf, while the percentage of dollar spot on untreated turf soared to nearly 65 percent in one test and 80 percent in another. Tartan also demonstrated significant residual control, effectively preventing disease for up to 27 days. Both turf color and turf quality received high ratings during the dollar spot preventative treatment test. Not only did Tartan prevent dollar spot from developing, it also enhanced turf color and turf quality after treatment.
